Monument weekend

Yesterday it was monument weekend in the Netherlands but we decided to stay in Almere. Trouble of course that the town is only 40 years old so no real monuments here.
Still you could climb the church tower ( normally not open for public) as you can see from the first photo and I also took a peek inside.
A few very nice particular owned houses were also open for public visits as here a garden house in the Fantasy. A former contest for people to build there own dream house without restrictions.
It was a memorable day in the end.

  3. Nice view from the church tower. I like the inside of the church, very attractive and the garden house would be great to see with all those plants and flowers.
